Grayson-Carroll-Wythe's management team has over ninety-one years combined experience in the insurance industry. They have over sixty-three years combined experience with Grayson-Carroll-Wythe Mutual. They are committed to seeing that Grayson-Carroll-Wythe continues to grow and strengthen its policyholders' surplus.
Joe R. Liddle, Secretary/Treasurer and CEO
Joe Liddle, Chief Executive Officer, is directly responsible for leading Grayson-Carroll-Wythe's management team in their efforts to further build a successful company, capitalizing on 114 years of heritage.
Joe is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive knowledge of the rural and farm insurance markets and products in Virginia. He has more than forty years of insurance experience and is responsible for the strategic direction of the Company.
Randall H. Carpenter, Executive Vice President
Randall Carpenter, Executive Vice President, is responsible for the agency marketing and management, underwriting, and information systems areas for Grayson-Carroll-Wythe Mutual.
Randall, too, is a seasoned insurance professional having spent thirty years serving in many different roles of both agency and company management. Before coming to Grayson-Carroll-Wythe, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President-Information Systems at a small mutual company in North Carolina for 15 years. In his earliest years in the industry, he was an agent and developed software for agencies and small companies. Randall has an MBA degree and holds the AIAF (Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance) designation from the Insurance Institute and the PFMM (Professional Farm Mutual Manager) designation from NAMIC. Randall has been with the company since 2008.
Jeff S. Reeves, Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Reeves, Chief Financial Officer is responsible for the day to day accounting duties along with cash control, investment portfolio management, risk management, and regulatory filings. He is a CPA and his background is in business management as well as the audit function of public accounting. Jeff also serves as the Human Resource Director responsible for personnel and benefits policies and procedures. He holds the CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) designation from the Insurance Institute and a Property & Casualty agent's license as well as Life & Annuities and Health agent's licenses. Jeff has been with the company since 2008.
David F. Wilson, Claims Manager
David Wilson, Claims Manager, is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Claims Department. He is responsible for accepting and recording loss notices, establishing reserves, adjusting claims, assigning independent adjusters if required, and paying claims. David has been with the company since 1989 and has extensive knowledge of the claims process and claims adjusting in Virginia.
